Recruitment 2012!!

This year's recruitment was life changing.
So many hours of work went into making it a great experience for the girls who came through, and it definitely paid off!

First off, I would like to thank all of our alumnae who took the time out of their busy schedules to help support us throughout this entire week. A special thanks to our outgoing recruitment advisor, Paula. We could not of recruited the great girls we did without your help!

Secondly, I want to thank all of the recruitment team! You ladies are amazing, and your hard work will be remembered for years to come.

We started recruitment off a night early with a sisterhood dinner. The cooking was fantastic and it was great to sit down together once more before recruitment actually began. The next few days were delightful chaos, and Tau had the privilege of meeting some amazing woman at the University of Toronto. Round one was Wizard of Oz themed, and was lead by Ashley and Lexy.

What do you want from your sorority?

Friendship, Fun, Loyalty, we're the girls of AGD.

Follow the yellow brick road!

Which way to sisterhood?
Round two had a Vegas Casino theme and was lead by Mary.

Round 2!

Carolyn and Nicole are sleepy!

The Preference Round is generally a little bit more dressy than round one or two, and is by far my favourite. Our current President, Carolyn, planned it as a high tea.

We also had fantastic alumnae come out and help us host the girls going through recruitment.

Bottom: Tau collegians having a sisterhood late lunch before Bid Night!

We headed over the building where all seven sororities were meant to wait until their New Members arrived.
Tau collegians waiting "patiently".
I've heard it said that you will never hear a sorority girl squeal louder than on Bid Day. Today, I witnessed just that. We welcomed 8 new baby squirrels to the family today, and I am so proud to call them my sisters.
Tau and their New Members!
